Thomson Majesty Cruise

Leading travel litigation lawyers have been instructed by passengers who travelled onboard the Thomson Majesty Cruise over Christmas 2012.

There have been complaints about the standard of the cabins and the quality of the food. Our clients suffered from symptoms including lethargy, high temperature and flu like symptoms. They were unable to eat due to their loss of appetite and these symptoms progressively worsened until they both felt too weak to leave the cabins.

Whilst the ship was docked in Lanzarote, one of the passengers whose symptoms were particularly severe, was rushed to hospital as soon as he was seen by the ship’s doctor whilst the vessel was in port. He spent nearly a month in hospital in Lanzarote, a week of which was spent in intensive care, and was finally diagnosed with pneumonia. Upon returning to the UK, some 4 weeks after his intended return date, he is continuing to suffer from malaise and tiredness and has been unable to return to work
