Brisas Guardalavaca Hotel, 2017

We've been concerned by recent reports of guests falling ill with gastric symptoms during holidays taken at the Brisas Guardalavaca Hotel in Cuba between October and November 2017.
Despite some positive reviews online, our expert International Personal Injury team has also learnt that some holidaymakers fell ill during their stay at the hotel. One was concerned to find some of the food “lukewarm and not cooked properly” - they also noted that “there were flies everywhere”. Another guest claims to have found a “moth at the bottom of the curry sauce”. Other holidaymakers report falling ill with gastric symptoms.

Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience helping those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness, we know the long term effects it can potentially cause, including permanent complications such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

If you also travelled to the Brisas Guardalavaca Hotel in Cuba and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact our International Personal Injury team on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.
