Illness at Daiquiri Hotel in Cuba

Irwin Mitchell have received reports of gastric illness from guests who stayed at the Daiquiri Hotel in Cuba in September and October 2008.
It is thought that a significant amount of holidaymakers suffered from symptoms such as diarrhoea, stomach cramps and vomiting and we have received reports of poor standards of hygiene at the hotel.
It is alleged  that the food was not served at the correct temperature and appeared reheated and reserved. We have received reports that the food was uncovered and as a result there was a large problem with flies in and around the food. It is also though that there were cats wandering around the dining areas.
Irwin Mitchell urges anyone affected by this to contact them.
