Dreams La Romana, Bayahibe

Irwin Mitchell’s leading travel litigation team has been contacted by holidaymakers staying at the Dreams La Romana, Bayahibe, in the Dominican Republic complaining of severe gastric illness.

Despite some positive reviews on online consumer websites, reports from affected holidaymakers indicate that the cause of the gastric illness may have been the poor quality of food and poor hygiene standards at the hotel.

There have also been reports on consumer review websites that detail that food was sometimes served undercooked and on occasion recycled food was displayed uncovered for long periods of time. There were also occasions where insects were seen around some of the food stations. It is reported that some guests suffered from symptoms including violent diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps which, in some circumstances, have required hospital admissions.

If you also stayed at this hotel and suffered gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be able to claim compensation for your ruined holiday.
