Hotel Playa Cayo Santa Maria
The International Personal Injury Team at Irwin Mitchell are concerned to learn of recent reports of guests falling ill with gastric symptoms during holidays taken at the Hotel Playa Cayo Santa Maria in Cuba in January and February 2016.
Despite positive reviews, Irwin Mitchell have learnt of reports regarding holidaymakers who fell ill during a stay at the hotel. One holidaymaker claims that on one occasion they “saw some employees use the same tongs for raw chicken/beef and cooked meats”. Another holidaymaker claims that some of the food “ was cold and unappetizing”. Other holidaymakers report falling ill with gastric symptoms.
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness Irwin Mitchell know first-hand the potential long term effects that can be associated with such illness, with sometimes permanent long term complications arising such as Post infective Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
If you also travelled to the Hotel Playa Cayo Santa Maria in Cuba and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.
