WHAT THE EXPERTS SAY
"The team has so many contacts with foreign insurers and so many people with foreign languages that it is miles ahead of others."

Iberostar Mojito, 2016
We’re concerned to learn about guests falling ill with gastric symptoms while taking holidays at the Iberostar Mojito in Cuba during January and February 2016.
While the hotel has also had positive reviews online, we’ve also seen reports of tourists falling ill during their stay there.
One holidaymaker who stayed at the hotel in January 2016 reports how her both members of their party fell ill.
Another guests who were there in February 2016 reports that her son and husband were “violently ill”. She also says she was aware of others at the hotel who were also ill.
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. We have significant experience helping those unlucky enough to contract gastric illness while on holiday. We’re very aware of the complications that can develop because of such illness, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The effects can sometimes develop into a problem that is long-term, or even permanent.
If you also travelled to the Iberostar Mojito in Cuba and have subsequently been ill, we’d like to hear from you. We specialise in dealing with cases like this and can advise you on claiming compensation for your trip.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
