Melia Jardines Del Ray Hotel

We're concerned by recent reports of illness among guests at the Melia Jardines del Rey in Cuba between August and September 2017.

Despite positive reviews of the hotel online, Irwin Mitchell's International Personal Injury team has also learnt that some holidaymakers fell ill during their stay. One guest claims that the pools were “filthy”, and other tourists report falling ill with gastric symptoms.

Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness we know the potential effects it can cause, including permanent complications such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

If you also travelled to the Melia Jardines del Rey in Cuba and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
