Oasis Brisas del Caribe Hotel, Varadero, Cuba
Irwin Mitchell has received reports of gastric illness amongst holidaymakers who travelled to the Oasis Brisas del Caribe Hotel, in Varadero, Cuba during May 2010.
It is reported that holidaymakers became ill possibly due to the poor food hygiene standards at the hotel. In particular, it has been alleged that the food was reheated and served up on more than one occasion and holidaymakers witnessed both raw meat and cooked meat being handled with the same cooking utensils.
Irwin Mitchell has been informed that one guest contracted Salmonella poisoning.
If you also travelled to this hotel and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you. You may be entitled to claim compensation for your ruined holiday, and also, the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you sustained.
