Irwin Mitchell’s International Personal Injury team are concerned to learn of recent reports of illness at the Paradisus Princesa Del Mar Resort & Spa in Cuba this year.
Despite some positive reviews, holidaymakers have reported they had a terrible experience and were really disappointed with the way in which some of the food was being handled. The guests noted that some meat was left out on the side and flies would land on it. The visitor also said that his wife became unwell with diarrhoea and was unable to leave their room for two days.
Another guest reported that they became ill with what they believe to be food poisoning and said that the resort had little to no hygiene. This holidaymaker was on their honeymoon and described their experience as terrible and very sad.
A holidaymaker expressed that some of the food was inedible, lacked flavour and had little variety. Another guest and her husband became sick, saying that some of the food was bland and on occasions undercooked or overcooked.
