WHAT THE EXPERTS SAY
"The team has so many contacts with foreign insurers and so many people with foreign languages that it is miles ahead of others."

Royalton Hicacos Varadero Resort & Spa, 2016
We're concerned to learn about recent reports of guests falling ill while on holiday at the Royalton Hicacos Varadero Resort & Spa in Cuba between December 2015 and April 2016.
Despite positive reviews of the hotel, we've also learned that some holidaymakers suffered gastric illness while staying there. A holidaymaker claims that when visiting the outdoor restaurant there were about “6 cats that hang out walking around your feet”. Another guest reports “finding a cockroach on their table which the waitress killed”. Others report falling ill with gastric symptoms.
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. We have significant experience assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness and so we know first hand the potential long-term effects that can develop, sometimes permanently - complications such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
If you also travelled to the Royalton Hicacos Varadero Resort & Spa in Cuba and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, we'd like to hear from you. We specialise in dealing with cases of such nature and may be able to help you make a claim.
For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
