Sol Caya Coco
The International Personal Injury team at Irwin Mitchell are concerned to learn of recent reports of guests who became ill with gastric symptoms during their stay at the Sol Cayo Coco in Cuba between June and August 2015.
Despite positive reviews, Irwin Mitchell has read of holidaymakers who fell ill with symptoms including sickness and diarrhoea following holidays at the hotel in this year, with one guest hospitalised.
They report seeing birds and flies landing on the food and some holidaymakers had concerns over the cleanliness of their hotel room and the hotel swimming pool. A guest said that on one occasion "chicken was undercooked."
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in the stools. We have significant experience helping those unlucky enough to contract gastric illness and know first-hand the potential long term effects like post-infective irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
If you also travelled to the Sol Cayo Coco in Cuba and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.
