Travel experts from Irwin Mitchell have been contacted by a British family who have recently returned from a holiday blighted by illness at the Sol Cayo Coco, in Cuba, during August 2015.
The family experienced symptoms including diarrhoea and an ear and eye infection which required medication from the local pharmacy. Our clients have continued to suffered with gastric symptoms after returning home to the UK.
Despite some positive reviews, the family report being served some food which was undercooked and on occasion appeared to be reheated. Other holidaymakers have complained about the basic level of the hotel rooms which have been described as having dirty linen and towels.
Furthermore, further guests have expressed that they and others became ill with upset stomachs.
