Valentin Perla Blanca, 2016
Our International Personal Injury team is concerned to hear recent reports of gastric illness among guests who stayed at the Valentin Perla Blanca in Cuba during February 2016 and March 2016.
One holidaymaker reports everyone in their group had some sort of illness during their trip in March 2016. They described how it was necessary to stay near to their room because of their bad stomach. Another tourist reports that they were aware of people having stomach issues and that by the fourth day of their holiday they had also fallen ill, needing to stay near to the bathroom for two days.
Another guest who stayed at the resort in February 2016 reports falling sick during their trip and also says that their friends had stomach issues all week.
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. We have significant experience helping those unlucky enough to contract gastric illness while on holiday. We’re very aware of the complications that can develop because of such illness, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The effects can sometimes develop into a problem that is long-term, or even permanent.
If you also travelled to the Valentin Perla Blanca in Cuba and have subsequently been ill, we’d like to hear from you. We specialise in dealing with cases like this and can advise you on claiming compensation for your trip.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
