Louis Phaethon Hotel, 2016
We've been instructed by a family who became ill with gastric symptoms following a stay at the Louis Phaethon Hotel in Cyprus.
The family, who were visiting the hotel for a wedding, report that some of the food was left uncovered and that sometimes meat - in one case chicken legs - was "undercooked". They also report that some of the chicken and pork served for the evening meal was cooked and prepared in the morning, then left all day until being served. The family all contracted a gastric illness, with symptoms including diarrhoea and vomiting; one of the children’s stool sample was subsequently suspected to contain traces of e coli.
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in the stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness we know first-hand the potential long term effects that can be associated with such illness, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
If you also stayed at the Louis Phaethon Hotel in Cyprus and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, we'd like to hear from you. We specialise in dealing with cases of such nature and could help you claim compensation.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
