Catalonia Royal Bavaro, Dominican Republic

Leading expert illness lawyers at Irwin Mitchell are concerned to receive reports of gastric illness at the Catalonia Royal Bavaro, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic with the most recent reports being in June 2012.

Guests, some of whom travelled to the hotel for their honeymoon have reportedly fallen ill with gastric symptoms which left guests “fearing to eat or drink anything else”. The food was said to be “horrible” and was served “cold and soggy”. Pest control was an issue with flies being a real problem. Milk was not properly chilled and was warm, particularly during breakfast. Guests have also reported a musty smell in their hotel room.

If you have also travelled to this hotel and subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
