Club Med Punta Cana, 2015

International Personal Injury lawyers at Irwin Mitchell are investigating recent reports of illness at the Club Med Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic this year.

Despite some positive reviews, holidaymakers have reported that they suffered from food poisoning and that members of their party became ‘deathly sick’. Another guest said that their family all came down with some kind of stomach illness which they described as severe. They were told by the resort doctor that there were all sorts of illnesses going around.

A guest had said that their whole family became ill with bloody diarrhoea, nausea and malaise. They described their illness as ‘very scary’, especially when their three year old child had two seizures which they believe were a result of his symptoms. Other reports stated that the food and service were poor, and some staff were rude.

Our team have significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to experience illness on holiday. If you have also travelled to the Club Med Punta Cana Hotel and have subsequently suffered from sickness, we would like to hear from you.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
