Fun Royale Beach Resort
Irwin Mitchell are acting for holidaymakers who fell ill during their stay at the Fun Royale Beach Resort in the Dominican Republic.
One such couple who were celebrating their second honeymoon stayed at the hotel between the months of January and February 2009. The holiday has left the couple out of pocket due to medical expenses that had to be incurred as a result of the illness suffered.
Holidaymakers report having suffered symptoms of diarrhoea and sickness during their stay. As a result of such illnesses suffered many holidaymakers had to seek medical treatment. A number of the holidaymakers are continuing to suffer from the illnesses contracted with many reporting how such illnesses have impacted and continue to impact on their daily lives.
Holidaymakers report how the standards of health and hygiene at the hotel appeared poor with food being served that was undercooked, food being re served and cutlery and crockery provided being dirty.
