Irwin Mitchell’s International Personal Injury team is concerned to learn that guests have become ill with gastric symptoms after staying at the Grand Palladium Resort in the Dominican Republic this year.
Despite some positive reviews, holidaymakers have reported that some of the food was undercooked and on occasion appeared to still be raw inside. Another guest claimed that they were served “old mutton, gristly fatty bacon and grilled veg that seemed like it had seen better days.”
A visitor has also expressed that their shower was broken and leaked all over their floor whilst another guest said that their room was infested with bugs and lizards.
We have also learnt that a group of holidaymakers claim to have fallen ill during their stay. This party were aware of others at the hotel experiencing similar symptoms; a group of seven were also experiencing gastric symptoms.
