Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Punta Cana

The specialist International Travel Litigation Team at Irwin Mitchell are concerned to read reports of an outbreak of gastric illness at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic amongst holidaymakers staying at the hotel in February 2012.

It has been reported that more than thirty guests fell ill with symptoms of suspected food poisoning, usually experiencing symptoms of diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps.

Food poisoning is often caused by a breakdown in food handling and hygiene procedures, which may have been the cause of the illnesses at this hotel.

If you also travelled to this resort and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you if you.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
