Level Melia Caribe Tropical, 2016
The International Personal Injury Team at Irwin Mitchell is concerned to learn of recent reports of guests falling ill with gastric symptoms during holidays taken at The Level Melia Caribe Tropical in the Dominican Republic between January and April 2016.
Despite positive reviews, we've also seen reports of holidaymakers falling ill during their stay at the hotel. One guest claims that on occasions the restaurant was “dirty”. Other holidaymakers report falling ill with gastric symptoms: one was required to seek medical help, and in another case, seven out of group of eleven fell ill.
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness, we know first hand the potential long-term effects that can come from it, including long term complications such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
If you also travelled to The Level Melia Caribe Tropical in the Dominican Republic and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, we'd like to hear from you. We specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, and you may be eligible for compensation.
