Illness At The Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar Don Pablo

Irwin Mitchell is concerned to learn of recent reports of illness at the Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar Don Pablo, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Despite positive reports, a holidaymaker who stayed at the hotel this year stated that it was the “worse holiday ever”.  Another holidaymaker “got salmonella poisoning” and they report seeing “cockroaches in the dining room” they described the hotel as “disgusting”.

Salmonella infections usually result from a combination of contaminated foods, poor hygiene and inadequate or poor preparation and cooking of food. The bacterium are found particularly in poultry, eggs, unprocessed milk, meat and water. Salmonella food poisoning can often be serious and in some instances even fatal and can lead to long term health complications such as IBS.

If you also travelled to this hotel and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
