Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar Don Pablo Collection, 2016

We are concerned to hear of guests falling ill with gastric symptoms while on holiday at the Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar Don Pablo Collection resort in the Dominican Republic.

Despite positive reviews of the hotel online, our International Personal Injury team is also aware that some holidaymakers have fallen ill following their stay at the hotel. Guests have reported that they suffered with gastric symptoms including abdominal pain, diarrhoea and vomiting. Two holidaymakers described their symptoms as ‘extremely violent’ with one of them requiring medical attention upon return to the UK.

One holidaymaker complained of the food and reported that the food was occasionally ‘over-cooked, bland, soggy and dry’. Other holidaymakers worried about the health and hygiene procedures practised at the hotel as they were aware of other guests that were also ill during the same period of time.

Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness, we know first-hand the potential long term conditions that can be associated with it, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

If you also travelled to Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar Don Pablo Collection resort in the Dominican Republic and subsequently suffered symptoms of illness, we'd like to hear from you. We specialise in dealing with cases of this nature and could help you claim compensation.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
