Now Larimar Punta Cana

Irwin Mitchell is concerned to learn of a guest falling ill during their stay at the Now Larimar Punta Cana Hotel, Dominican Republic in August 2013.

The holidaymaker reported that his niece was unable to return home as planned and had to fly home three days late as she had become ill and had to be hospitalised. He also said that some of the cutlery given to guests, including glasses, was dirty.

Irwin Mitchell's International travel litigation team also acted for a number of holidaymakers in 2011, who following a stay at the Now Larimar Punta Cana, fell ill with symptoms of diarrhoea, abdominal pain and weight loss.

Past complaints included that the food was not of a reasonable standard; food such as sausages and chicken, was served undercooked, reheated and re-served later in the day. There are also a number of complaints about the customer service at the hotel.

If you have travelled to this hotel and suffered from gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you, as you may be able to claim for your ruined holiday and the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you sustained.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
