Sensimar Punta Cana, 2017

The International Personal Injury Team at Irwin Mitchell is concerned by recent reports of illness at the Sensimar Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic between November 2016 and March 2017.

Despite positive reviews online, we're aware that some guests also fell ill during their stay at the hotel. One holidaymaker claims that some of the food was “cold”; another holidaymaker claims that there were workmen digging by the pool and there was on occasion “brown water spewing into” the pool. Other guests report falling ill with gastric symptoms.

Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness we know the potential long term effects it can cause, including permanent long term complications such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

If you also travelled to the Sensimar Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.
