Sunscape Bavaro Punta Cana - 2017

Irwin Mitchell’s specialist International Personal Injury team is concerned to hear about guests falling ill with symptoms of gastric illness whilst on holiday at Sunscape Bavaro Beach Punta Cana, Dominican Republic during February 2017.

Tourists reported that they were served raw chicken, as well noting unpleasant smells of sewage and sewage problems around the resort. A number of guests suffered food poisoning and symptoms including vomiting, diarrhoea and fever. Some of the holidaymakers were tested positive for salmonella.

Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell’s specialist International Personal Injury Lawyers know the potential long term effects that gastric illness can have, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

If you also travelled to the Sunscape Bavaro Beach Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and subsequently suffered symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
