Vista Sol Punta Cana, 2016

We're concerned to learn that guests at the Vista Sol Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic fell ill with gastric symptoms while taking holidays there between March and May 2016.

Despite positive reviews of the resort online, we've also seen reports of holidaymakers becoming ill there. One tourist writes that their dinner from the restaurants onsite "never arrived hot". Other guests report falling ill with gastric symptoms.

Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. We have significant experience in helping those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness and so we know first-hand the long term effects that can potentially come from such illness, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

If you also travelled to the Vista Sol Punta Cana Resort in the Dominican Republic and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, we want to hear from you. We specialise in dealing with cases of this nature and could help you claim compensation.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
