Vista Sol Punta Cana, 2017

We're concerned to learn that guests at the Vista Sol Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic fell ill with gastric symptoms while taking holidays there between January and March 2017.
Despite positive reviews of the resort online, we've also seen reports of tourists becoming ill there. One guest claims that “bees and other insects swarmed the drink distributors” and that the utensils were “poorly cleaned and changed once every two guests”. Other holidaymakers report falling ill with gastric symptoms.

Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. We have significant experience in helping those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness and so we know the long term effects it can potentially cause, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

If you also travelled to the Vista Sol Punta Cana Resort in the Dominican Republic and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, we want to hear from you. We specialise in dealing with cases of this nature and could help you claim compensation.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.
