The International Personal Injury team at Irwin Mitchell is concerned to learn that guests became ill with gastric symptoms after staying at the Concorde El Salam in Egypt this year.
Despite positive reviews, holidaymakers have reported that some of the food was “very basic, poor quality” and on occasions stated that it was “not hot enough”.
Other guests raised hygiene issues claiming that the pool was “overcrowded and dirty with floating cups, straws, gravel, stones and sand”. On two occasions the pool reportedly had to be cleaned due to faecal accidents.
A number of visitors have described being “ill with diarrhoea and sickness” during their stay, some reporting the illness lasted until they returned home.
