Irwin Mitchell is concerned to learn of recent reports of gastric illness at Coral Sea Holiday Village, Sharm El Sheikh Egypt.
Despite positive reports, a holidaymaker who stayed at the hotel this summer described some of the food to be of a “poor quality” and one holidaymaker suffered with “severe diarrhoea, which was then followed by horrendous cramps” and that their “partner also suffered with the same symptoms and also developed having severe headaches”. It was also mentioned on occasions that there was a “smell of raw sewage by the main gates which was described as vile”. Another holidaymaker describe the hotel needing “a really good clean. A proper deep clean with lots of scrubbing”. In the restaurant it was noted that spilled condiments were on occasions “attracting flies”.
