Harmony Makida Bay Hotel, Hurghadi

Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers after we have been instructed by two clients who have returned from their holiday suffering from symptoms of gastric illness. Our clients stayed at the Hotel Harmony Makida Bay, Hurghadi, Egypt during September 2010.

Reports suggest that our clients, along with a number of other holiday makers, have become ill with gastric illness as a result of poor food hygiene standards and issues with the quality of food consumed at the hotel. Our clients have reported that the meat served at the hotel was undercooked and pink in the middle.

Irwin Mitchell are now investigating a claim against the tour operator, Thomas Cook, who sold the package holiday to our clients.
If you also travelled to this hotel and suffered from gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be able to claim compensation for your ruined holiday, and also the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you sustain.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
