Hilton Sharms Dream Hotel

Irwin Mitchell have been instructed by holiday makers who have suffered from gastric illness following their stay at Hilton Sharm Dreams Hotel in Egypt during June 2008.

Guests at the hotel have suffered with symptoms of gastric illness which may have been linked to food consumed as part of an all inclusive package.

The complaints received from guests suggest there was a breakdown in health and hygiene standards. Reported complaints have included food left uncovered for long periods and then being re-used the following day, the food preparation was unhygienic, food was served undercook.  Other complaints have been regarding the quality of the hotel in general. Guests have confirmed that the hotel restaurant area was extremely dirty and in general the hotel was maintained to a poor standard and was inadequately cleaned.
