Irwin Mitchell’s leading travel litigation team have been instructed by several holidaymakers who have returned from their holidays at the Holiday Village Red Sea resort in Egypt in the summer of 2013 suffering from gastric illness.

The team have represented over 250 holidaymakers following trips to the Holiday Village Red Sea since 2007 including people who suffered from cryptosporidium, salmonella, shigella, campylobacter and E.coli.

It is alarming to learn that such problems continue at the hotel with the latest complaints in 2013 echoing those made by over 250 tourists after their holidays were ruined by outbreaks of illness at the Holiday Village Red Sea in Sharm El Sheikh in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

As well as complaints about substandard and undercooked food, guests have complained about having to endure acute pain and discomfort over a prolonged period including sickness, diarrhoea and severe stomach cramps. Many of those affected received treatment and in some cases whole families were struck down with illness.
