Hotel Fort Arabesque Makadi Bay Egypt 2011
Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers who have recently travelled to the Fort Arabesque Hotel in Egypt, particularly for those holidays taken in May 2011.
Reports would indicate that holidaymakers have suffered illness. Despite some positive reports it has been reported that some food was left unattended for long periods of time and some food was not served at the correct temperature. Birds were seen flying inside the restaurant pecking at some of the leftover food both on and under tables with evidence of bird faeces in these areas.
One holidaymaker reports suffering from severe symptoms of diarrhoea. She has reported suffering episodes of faecal incontinence and required hospital treatment whilst abroad. Since their return they have been diagnosed with suffering an acute gastroenteritis also resulting in initial weight loss.
