Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers after being approached by two holiday makers who are returned from the Hotel Tiran in Egypt. They holidayed at the hotel between July and August 2010.
Our clients along with other holiday makers became ill with suspected food poisoning possibly as a result of poor hygiene standards and issues with the quality of food at the hotel, in particular food being undercooked such as chicken. It is also suggested that food was left uncovered and new food was added to existing food as well as insects been seen in the restaurant.
Our clients also raised concerns over health and safety at the hotel as the pool went without being cleaned, resulting in the water being dirty and cloudy.
Irwin Mitchell is now investigating a claim against the tour operator who sold the holiday to our clients.
