Iberotel Aquamarine Resort, June 2013
Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers who have recently travelled to the Iberotel Aquamarine Resort in Egypt in June 2013.
Despite some positive reports some recent accounts suggest that holidaymakers have suffered from illness following their stay at the hotel. Reports suggest that some holidaymakers suffered from food poisoning and symptoms included stomach pains, diarrhoea and sickness. The illness resulted in several holidaymakers having to seek medical attention from the hotel clinic. Irwin Mitchell are more concerned to learn that holidaymakers have returned home and are still suffering with ongoing symptoms as a result of their illness on holiday.
Holidaymakers staying at the resort described the hotel as beautiful, but further reports suggest the condition of some of the food is alarming. Holidaymakers reported that the chicken was served pink and undercooked. Another holidaymaker reported how the food was pre-cooked in the morning and then re-heated before it was served later on in the day. It was also noted that the temperature of the food served in the buffet restaurant was not seen to be checked and on occasions the food was served cold as though it had been sitting there all day.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
