Illness Outbreak at Holiday Village Red Sea, Egypt

Irwin Mitchell are concerned to have received reports of illness at the Holiday Village Red Sea in Egypt.

Holidaymakers who travelled to the hotel in September 2011 are reported to have suffered from symptoms of gastric illness associated with suspected food poisoning. Symptoms include severe diarrhoea, vomiting and abdominal pain.

Other complaints relating to this hotel include new food being added on top of existing food. Insects were also seen on or around the food. The swimming pool water was dirty and there have been reports that faecal matter was seen floating on the water.

The exclusive First Choice hotel has been under fire for the past four years running and hundreds of holidaymakers have turned to the International Travel Litigation team at Irwin Mitchell to act on their behalf. Since 2007 Irwin Mitchell has acted for over 150 holiday makers whose holidays at the Holiday Village were ruined by illness, including cases of Salmonella, Campylobacter and E.coli.

If you also travelled to this hotel and suffered from gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be able to claim compensation for your ruined holiday, and also the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you suffered.
