Sunrise Diamond Hotel, Egypt
Irwin Mitchell is concerned to learn that holidaymakers who have recently travelled to the Sunrise Diamond Hotel in Egypt, are returning suffering from symptoms of gastric illness.
Holidaymakers are allegedly suffering from diarrhoea and stomach cramps contracted whilst staying at this hotel.
It is suggested that there was a lack of hygiene at the hotel, especially with regard to the food handling procedures, with new food being added to existing food, food not being served at the correct temperatures and food left uncovered. It is also reported that staff would wipe sweat from their heads with tissue and then continue to serve food immediately afterwards.
