Jaz Aquamarine Resort 2014
Our specialist International Personal Injury Team have been contacted by a holidaymaker following a stay at the Jaz Aquamarine Resort, Egypt in September 2014.
During his stay at the hotel, our client began to experience symptoms of gastric illness including severe diarrhoea and vomiting. On his return home, he continued to suffer with gastric illness, sought medical treatment from his own GP and was later diagnosed with Salmonella.
Jatinder Paul, an Associate Solicitor and specialist in International Personal Injury cases at Irwin Mitchell, said “We are concerned to hear reports of illness at the Jaz Aquamarine Resort, Egypt. Unfortunately for this holidaymaker, his holiday was ruined as a result of the illness and will now be remembered for all the wrong reasons. We will now be conducting our own investigations as to the cause of our client’s illness”.
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness, we know first-hand the potential long term conditions that can be associated with it, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
If you also travelled to the Jaz Aquamarine Resort in Egypt and subsequently suffered symptoms of illness, we'd like to hear from you. We specialise in dealing with cases of this nature and could help you claim compensation.
