Irwin Mitchell’s specialist International Personal Injury team are concerned to hear of guests falling ill with symptoms of gastric illness while on holiday at the Jaz Aquamarine Resort, Egypt in August 2016.
Our International Personal Injury team have been contacted by a family who travelled to the Jaz Aquamarine Resort, Egypt. Unfortunately, two members of the family have reported suffering with symptoms including vomiting, fever, diarrhoea and stomach cramps. The holidaymakers report that they noticed a number of unhygienic and concerning practices at the resort, including raw chicken being placed in the same tray as uncooked chicken and meat dishes sometimes being served lukewarm. The holidaymakers advise that they also saw staff using the same mop to clean both the toilets and the bar area where people were eating.
Irwin Mitchell are concerned to note that the one of the holidaymakers continues to suffer with symptoms of gastric illness. Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools.
