Specialist international personal injury lawyers at Irwin Mitchell have been instructed by a couple following their week-long stay at the Jaz Mirabel Club, Egypt, in June 2015.
The couple travelled to the hotel in Egypt for their annual summer holiday; however illness quickly struck one of the holidaymakers who suffered with severe diarrhoea and stomach cramps. The holidaymakers have reported that some of the food in the restaurant was undercooked and occasionally the food was left uncovered for long periods of time. On some occasions, flies were seen around the food in the restaurant area. The general condition of the restaurant was reported to be in a state of disrepair.
Jatinder Paul, a solicitor at Irwin Mitchell, said: “This was planned as a relaxing holiday for the couple, however it has resulted in serious illness and, as a result, their holiday plans have been ruined. We will now be conducting our own investigations as to the cause of our client’s illness and we would encourage the Hotel management to take similar steps.
