Maritim Jolie Ville Royal Peninsula Hotel and Resort
Irwin Mitchell is concerned to receive reports of illness from holidaymakers who stayed at the Maritim Jolie Ville Royal Peninsula Hotel and Resort, Egypt, in March 2014.
Holidaymakers have told us that they suffered from symptoms of severe diarrhoea and stomach cramps. They report having to visit the resort's doctor due to the symptoms they were suffering from, and they have both returned home from the resort still suffering illness.
Despite a number of positive reviews holidaymakers have raised concerns about some of the hot food not being served at the correct temperature. It is also reported that on occasion food such as salads were served uncovered and food such as rice appeared to have been recycled and used later in the day. Holidaymakers say that the restaurant sometimes appeared dirty and that birds had been seen landing on tables and pecking at the food.
