Irwin Mitchell’s International Personal Injury team is concerned to learn that guests fell ill with gastric symptoms during stays at the Oriental Resort, in Egypt, between July and August 2015.
Despite some positive reviews, holidaymakers have reported that the restaurant was “appalling with dirty seats, floor and skirting boards and staff pushing dirty trollies with clean plates”. Other holidaymakers have claimed that some of the food was served “stone cold” and “wasn’t as fresh the later you ate”.
Concerns have also been voiced relating to the state of the pool. Guests have stated that people had written in the scum around the pool walls and expressed that staff didn’t close the pool after “accidents”.
Alarmingly holidaymakers have reported falling ill with bad stomachs and excruciating pains, as well as others reporting re-occurring diarrhoea and sickness.
