Rixos Sharm El Sheikh, 2015
Irwin Mitchell’s specialist international personal injury lawyers have been contacted by holidaymakers who fell ill whilst staying at the Rixos Sharm El Sheikh, in Egypt, during September and October 2015.
The guests reported suffering from gastrointestinal illness, with symptoms including diarrhoea, vomiting and abdominal pains.
Whilst staying at the resort, the visitors noticed that a lot of the food served at the restaurant appeared to have been left uncovered for long periods of time. On occasions, old food also appeared to have been topped up with fresh food. At times the food was reportedly served lukewarm, such as the beef, and sometimes the likes of salad weren’t chilled as they should be. Birds were also seen in the restaurant.
Irwin Mitchell has successfully represented holidaymakers who have travelled to hotels in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, and have subsequently fallen ill.
If you have also travelled to the Rixos Sharm El Sheikh and experienced symptoms of illness, we would like to hear from you.
