Irwin Mitchell’s specialist international personal injury lawyers have been contacted by holidaymakers who became ill following their stay at the Royal Grand Sharm, in Egypt, during September 2015.
The guests contracted gastrointestinal illness with symptoms including diarrhoea, abdominal pain and lethargy.
The holidaymakers noticed that a lot of the food served in the hotel’s restaurant was lukewarm and left out for long periods of time. They also reported that on occasions new food appeared to be added to existing food and birds were also seen landing on and around food in the outdoor restaurant.
