Royal Grand Sharm, Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt

Leading travel litigation lawyers at Irwin Mitchell have been instructed by holidaymakers returning from  the Royal Grand Sharm in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt suffering from gastric illness.

Our clients who have holidayed at this hotel have fallen ill with gastric symptoms including severe diarrhoea and cramping abdominal pains allegedly as a result of E-coli. Serious bacterial infections such as E-coli can leave permanent symptoms including an alteration of bowel habit, stomach pains and irritable bowel syndrome.

Reports indicate that the cause of the gastric illnesses may have been due to the poor quality of food at the hotel. Food was said to be undercooked and served at an incorrect temperature. Food was served uncovered and flies were seen in or on the food.

If you have also travelled to this hotel and subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
