Irwin Mitchell has been instructed by holidaymakers who have fallen ill with gastric illness whilst staying at the Sonesta Beach Resort, Egypt in August 2012.

This is not the first time that Irwin Mitchell has represented holidaymakers staying at this Hotel as the firm has successfully concluded claims for those holidaying at the hotel in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

The holidaymakers state they have suffered from symptoms including severe diarrhoea, stomach pains and vomiting and they have continued to suffer with the symptoms upon their return to the United Kingdom. They state the hotel was dirty and complaints include food in the restaurant being served lukewarm and left uncovered for long periods of time. They also report flies were also seen in the restaurant around the food serving stations on a number of occasions.
