Sunrise Island Garden Resort, Sharm el Sheikh
Irwin Mitchell has been contacted by holidaymakers who stayed at the Sunrise Island Garden Resort, Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt in January 2011 and are complaining of suffering illness whilst stopping at the holiday resort.
Holidaymakers have told us that they fell ill with gastric symptoms including diarrhoea, abdominal pain, sickness and fever. In some cases, clients also sustained injury as a result of their stay.
Complaints have been made by holidaymakers about the general standard of the hotel and guests had serious concerns about the food being served in the hotel. Holidaymakers reported that food was served at incorrect temperatures and not kept in satisfactory conditions.
Holidaymakers are also very concerned about the general hygiene of the hotel as they have reported a lack of cleanliness and hygiene throughout areas of the hotel.
Irwin Mitchell is already representing 11 clients who suffered illness or loss of enjoyment at this resort from their recent stay. We are concerned that many other holidaymakers have been affected.
