Irwin Mitchell’s specialist International Personal Injury team has been contacted by a couple following their two-week stay at The Grand Hotel, Sharm El Sheikh, in 2014.
The holidaymakers travelled to the hotel on their annual holiday but only a few days in they began to experience symptoms of gastric illness. These symptoms included severe diarrhoea, sickness, nausea and lethargy, which in turn ruined their holiday.
The tourists’ illnesses became so severe that they sought medical treatment from the local doctor. They were prescribed with medication and received injections.
