Titanic Beach Spa & Aqua Park, Hurgada, July 2013
Irwin Mitchell is concerned to learn of reports of illness at the Titanic Beach Spa & Aqua Park, Hurgada, Egypt during holidays taken in May and June 2013.
Holidaymakers have recently reported suffering from symptoms of diarrhoea and stomach cramps, and continue to seek medical attention from their GPs since their return to the UK. They are pending the outcome of test results taken to confirm the cause of the illness. These holidaymakers have also mentioned that because of their illness, they could not leave their hotel rooms for a number of days and were unable to take full advantage of the hotel's facilities.
Despite some positive reviews, the holidaymakers were concerned that some of the hot food was only warm, some food appeared to be re-used the day after, as stews and some food also appeared undercooked. There were often flies also seen on and around some foods and on occasions, birds were also seen in and around the restaurant area. There were also reports that salad dishes did not look fresh and that some of the utensils were unclean.
If you also travelled to this resort and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of this nature, would like to hear from you.
