Tropicana Grand Azure Hotel
Irwin Mitchell’s leading travel litigation group have once again received instructions from a number of holidaymakers staying at the Tropicana Grand Azure resort in Egypt are returning from their holidays complaining of severe gastric illnesses including the serious bacterial infection salmonella.
The most recent reports of illness are from May 2012, but we are acting for clients who holidayed at the Tropicana Grand Azure resort in the summers of 2009, 2010 and 2011 who also fell ill with severe gastric symptoms.
It is alarming to learn that such problems continue at the hotel, with recent reports suggesting that holidaymakers have contracted serious bacterial infections such as salmonella as a result of a possible breakdown in food hygiene procedures.
Reports indicate that the cause of the gastric illnesses may have been due to the poor quality of food and lack of hygiene standards practised at the hotel with reports of insects around food serving stations.
In particular, the holidaymakers have reported that food was served undercooked and recycled food was displayed uncovered for long periods of time. It is reported that guests suffered from symptoms including violent diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps.
If you have also travelled to this hotel and subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
